Black History Month Programming
We honor the resilience, achievements, and cultural contributions of Black communities with movies, art exhibits, and author readings every February.
Haiku Newton
Winning poems from our annual haiku contest are displayed in various Newton venues from late April, in celebration of National Poetry Month, through July.
Spark Sponsored Events
In addition to organizing and running our own Spark Signature events, we provide financial and administrative support to other Newton groups so they can offer our community their own performances and events—nurturing the creative heartbeat of Newton and amplifying our mission!
Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts
We partner with the City annually to fund and organize a six-week celebration of our local musicians, artists, thespians, and dancers.
Artful Piano Project, Summer Sunday Concerts, and the Halloween Window Painting
We act as the lead financial sponsor for three beloved City programs.
Community Micro Grants
Through our Community Micro Grant program, we provide vital funding to local arts organizations, artists, and arts nonprofits.
